PRE Micropigmentation Instructions

THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS ARE TO ENSURE YOUR SKIN IS IN THE BEST POSSIBLE CONDITION FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW CAREFULLY;

  • Avoid heavy sun exposure, and sunburns on face
  • Limit coffee or any caffeine the day of procedure. 
  • Do NOT drink alcohol before the procedure.
  • Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or acetaminophen is ok)
  • Do NOT use products such as AHA's, BHA's, Retinol or any other chemical exfoliant on the face 1 week prior to appointment

The following treatments should avoided within four weeks of the procedure:

  • Botox or other fillers (ok if not on the brow area)
  • Chemical Peels
  • Laser treatments

**Please note that you can be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.


POST Micro-pigmentation Instructions

 √ Do not touch your new brows, your hands may have bacteria on them and create an infection

√ Wash your brows daily with cool water and a gentle, fragrance free soap with clean fingertips. Pat dry

√ Begin to apply a thin layer of healing ointment 3-5 days after treatment (or when brows feel dry/tight) 1-2X daily using clean fingertips or Q-tip

√ No brow make-up, tinting, waxing brows, sun, sauna, soaking, jacuzzi, swimming in chlorine pools or in the recreational bodies of water for 10 days, (or until area is completely healed) post procedure and after all touch-ups

√ Do not rub, scratch, pick or pull your brows while they are healing

√ Use a sun block regularly after your brows have fully healed to prevent premature fading

√Do not use products that contain AHA’s on the procedure area. (Example: Glycolic, Lactic Acids. Always check your product labeling) it will fade your pigment prematurely

√ Touch-ups are scheduled 4-6 weeks post procedure. All Permanent Make-up procedures are a two-step process. Results are not determined until touch-up is completed

√If you experience any complications post-procedure call your technician immediately.You may be allergic to the after care product you are using!

√If you have excessive redness, swelling, elevated temperature, or drainage from the procedure site, contact your physician as the area may be infected and you may need to seek medical care.

*Failure to follow these instructions may result in pigment color loss!

*Microblading/Powder Brows are a two-step process; certain skin types may require more than one touchup

*I suggest a yearly ‘Color Refresher’ to maintain your color integrity
